Abstract

The special value of computer games and videogames for informal and formal learning processes has been intensively discussed in recent years. For school contexts, it is of particular importance not only to recognise the general potential of such games, but also to implement them with suitable teaching arrangements. The article gives an overview of the basic concepts and approaches that can be relevant for school practice in this regard.
