Abstract
Using the example of a learning game to be developed in the difficult application field of literacy/basic education, this article discusses the question of whether and how game-based training can be used sensibly and which framework conditions, contents, supporting instructional aids, development processes and aspects of (game-based) learning in virtual worlds are suitable or should be taken into account.
