Abstract
This article describes an approach to media-based reflection support for students. Based on lifelong learning and its individual requirements, self-directed learning and the importance of reflection skills are first discussed in detail. A model of learning-related influencing variables then serves to clarify various possible levels, subjects and goals of reflection. Using the example of (e)portfolios, possibilities of media-supported reflection support are then described, before finally the reflection-supporting measures in the ePortfolio system of the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg are presented.
