Abstract

In the article, further research possibilities for learning with computers/Internet and textbooks are derived from desiderata of the current state of research on education-oriented media reception and the use of textbooks. Based on this, a research concept is presented with which the informal school-relevant media reception with computers/Internet and textbooks including their conditional structure as well as their effects on the formal acquisition of competences with these media can be examined from the pupil's point of view. The concept leads to a process model in which different theoretical approaches are triangulated and outlined in their specific significance for a possible empirical procedure.
