Abstract

Against the background of the current state of international creativity research, ­the article examines the role of the human body as a multidimensional medium within teaching and learning processes. To this end, an integral approach to body-based learning is outlined from a pragmatist perspective. Furthermore, the authors show ­how body-based learning can be embedded in the teaching and learning culture at schools and universities, ­using the example of university seminar events ­they have conducted in Germany and Denmark.
