Abstract

Media didactics and knowledge management - at first glance, they seem to be an unequal pair: media didactics is a sub-discipline of (media) pedagogy, while knowledge management is a genuinely economic topic with business management accents. There is convergence between media didactics and knowledge management on the one hand due to the so-called e-learning trend on the part of the economy, which calls for media didactic knowledge and skills, and on the other hand due to growing interest in the topic of knowledge management on the part of pedagogy. The article describes an orientation model for both e-learning and knowledge management from a pedagogical-psychological point of view; both models make the points of contact between media didactics and knowledge management clear. In addition to an overview of economic arguments for a fusion of e-learning and knowledge management, theoretical and practical lines of connection between e-learning and knowledge management as well as the role of media didactics in the resulting interrelationship are elaborated based on the two orientation models.
