Abstract

Internet-based communication is increasingly becoming part of young people's media socialisation. With regard to the popular leisure activity "chatting", in this article I will present connections between structural conditions of internet-based communication and forms of heteronomous as well as autonomous morality and problematise them from a media ethics perspective.
