Abstract

In the education system, there is a growing need to orient multimedia and telemedia learning environments increasingly towards target group-oriented didactic approaches and concepts that are oriented towards the most learning-oriented use of the media computer and Internet (cf. e.g. Kaderali 2001; Euler 1992, p. 16). This development trend can be seen both in relevant current specialist publications and in the context of educational practice. The didactic concepts on the topic of multi- and telemedial learning environments are diverse and contain different theoretical references (cf. e.g. Kerres 2001, p. 53; Peters 1997, p. 11). In particular, the approaches of teaching-learning research are taken up here, which refer to programmed instruction, cognitive approaches and research on intelligent tutorial systems as well as approaches of situated and constructivist learning (cf. Kerres 2001, pp. 55-84).
