Abstract
An interdisciplinary working group consisting of subject didacticians, pedagogues and psychologists has been investigating the influence of emotional factors on school learning processes at the Ludwigsburg University of Education for several years. Emotions are considered a significant factor in the quality of teaching and learning processes. However, the recording of emotions in pupils has proven to be quite difficult. Our research initially focused on questionnaires on general well-being, school satisfaction and concrete emotional experiences in individual lessons. Interviews with individual students about their emotional state during learning were also conducted.
