Abstract
In the area of multimedia network-based learning at universities, the focus is on improving the quality of teaching and developing concepts for the sensible use of human and financial resources. To this end, concepts are being developed in the project "Pedagogy Online" at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern, which concern the didactic-methodical optimisation of university teaching. This article presents the experiences from the two courses "Introduction to General Pedagogy" and "Introduction to Vocational and Business Education" (WS 02/03 and 03/04 respectively) - both courses that were implemented with as little technical effort as possible. On the basis of two years of experience, the question will be examined whether the additional personnel and financial effort has also been reflected in added value for the students.
