Multimedia Communication Architectures: Challenges And Further Developments Of Research In The Cultural Space Of The Internet

Abstract

In the following, I will address the question of how the rapidly changing cultural space of the Internet can be explored in terms of research. In doing so, I do not so much want to take stock of the current state of Internet research, which has already been done through various relevant publications. Rather, I will concentrate on outlining the main changes in the Internet in recent years, and then follow this up with a few selected methodological problems that are associated with this.
