Abstract
The following article first attempts an approach to the subject and approaches of practice research and a classification in the overall field of media education research. In connection with a greater broad impact and sustainability of media pedagogical activities, which were called for at the media pedagogical congress (Berlin 2011), the question of strengthening systematic practice research also arises - practice research should be one of the core areas of media pedagogical research in the future. In a further step, selected aspects of previous studies of media pedagogical practice research in the sub-area of active media work are balanced and points are named which clarify the relevance of this research area. Most read articles by the same author(s)
