Learning with and about media was and is the content and goal of media didactic and educational considerations and activities in German-language media education. This 17th volume of the Jahrbuch Medienpädagogik series brings together current discourses on the topics of ‘Designing teaching and learning with media’ and ‘Learning and educational processes in the context of digitality’. Both cross-sectional questions about learning processes in different contexts and questions about the design of learning environments and teaching materials are discussed. Learning with and about media is analysed from a thematically broad perspective based on empirical projects, but also with a view to fundamental theoretical considerations. The yearbook also deals with questions of technology-supported practice in the training and further education of teachers.
